installing paypal_ipn_1.2.1_0 for PayPal

I have installed the paypal_ipn_1.2.1_0 module fpor PayPal, but I get errors in my admin.

 

One person on the forum told me I had to call PayPal and have them set up something on their end for the moodule to work.Well, I called PayPal and they said that it's all done on the OSCommerce end, in the admin tool.

 

Does anyone have experience with this module?

 

Do I need to do anything aside from uploading files to the appropriate folders?

 

I uploaded the files but I kept getting PHP errors, so now I have removed the files and the errors are gone.

 

What do I have todo to get this module to work?

Okay,

 

I reinstalled the package and I'm not getting any errors. Yet I'm also not getting my orders saved to my OSCommerce database when I don't click "back to Merchant" on PayPal after I submit my order.

 

Where in the admin panel do I set up this module?

 

Or do I have to call PayPal?

I have it working!!! :thumbsup:

 

Just some questions. I am not using SSL for my clients site since all payments are made through PayPal, yet there are a couple of options I need to set and I am unsure what settings go where.

 

For example:

"Privacy Key, public certificate, PayPal public certificate, PayPal public certificate ID, working directory and open SSL location."

 

 

I'm on hold with PayPal rigt now, but if anyone could advise me on these issues I would appreciate it.

Paypal has an auto return for the payment page.

 

So the PayPal IPN module isn't needed.
