mustdoit Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Hi, I wish to add some mods and was wondering which one I should add first, second, etc... I'm adding the mods that follow: 1. Print Catalog 2. All Products 3. Gift Vouchers 4. Header Tags 5. Meta Tags 6. Purchase without Account Also, is there a way to have the newsletter option with the PWA mod? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Terry
Iggy Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 No telling really. Some will step on others and you'll have to merge some code. Some won't. Install order won't matter depending on your skill and memory. Generally I plug the ones wiith the most changes in first; YMMV. Just be sure to backup after installing each contrib so you have a known good position to fall back to when (yes, it's when) something goes wrong, you lose track of where you were in progress, etc. HTH, Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke...

♥toyicebear Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Thanks for the info. Also could anyone tell me if there is a way to keep the newsletter option when adding PWA Mod? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To keep the newsletter option kind of defeats the purpose of the PWA and will not gain you any trust from the customers standpoint...... Why...because the pwa checkout states... Proceed to Checkout without creating an account. By choosing this option none of your user information will be kept in our records, and you will not be able to review your order status, nor keep track of your previous orders. So that you still have the checkout choices but keeping the newsletter button in the create account section.

If you install it first, you can copy most of those.
