One thing I can see is that one could change manufacturer to say publisher. Just wanted to get some ideas from the people who have already built an online book shop with oscommerce. ozEworks Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 Hi I always make the publisher the manufacturer as that makes the most sense. I then use the Manufacturer 2 contribution to create the Author. You could also add extra fields to the product field to add ISBNs and the neatest way to do that is NOT to use the product extra field contribution which create a new table (which means extra database access) but follow the advice in http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...h,easy+populate which tells you how to add a new field to the product table.
