If you live in the UK feel free to buy stuff(of course it's live so stuff will be delivered :) U won't find Hello Kitty stuff cheaper anywhere in the UK !! http://www.puripuridepo.co.uk Kenny :D
medalta Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 If I was looking for these types of products and I lived in the same country I might buy products from your site. But I don't  and I don't  and I won't  . I have a personal phobia about pink so you can't pay attention to part of my comments but I think it's a bit busy. The over use of color, mostly the page background image make it harder to concentrate on the product offering. IMO The only thing I really don't like is the way you have applied the shading to your images. I prefer a consistant 75% opacity black set at size 2 and distance 2. I think this gives more impression of dimension. What I see in your images is too stark and separate. For the most part your image quality is good and you have obviously spent some time editing them. Also that little weird flag type thing you have in the pop up should be redone or replaced with the actual flag. Good luck with the site and as far as people coming to your site I would suggest you spend some time linking with relavant sites to draw the market share you are looking for.

Bizarre! Works ok in firefox! You definitely wanna fix your redirect!!! Light, in the absence of eyes, illuminates nothing.

Beer Monster Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 It must be your browser cuz it's working fine here in IE :-" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OK, just tried it on another computer and it was my flaky browser. Working fine in IE on this computer, getting the 'about to view over a secure connection' msg now. Kenny, The redirect to an ssl page stil needs fixed. It's pointless as soon as I click a category it takes me to a non ssl page with a 'you are about to leave a secure.....' message. That nonsence will be chasing customers away! Also, have you made sure that your <meta> tag info is in place so you get a good google listing! Nice site but the products are a bit too feminine for me! Good luck with improving your sales!! Light, in the absence of eyes, illuminates nothing.
hubcat Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I think your free shipping and free gift are your draws once someone visits. Those things should be converting browsers to buyers. They should be higher on the home page. I have to scroll to even see them, and a new shopper could easily miss the whole thing by clicking on a product. Ideally, you should find a way to make that visible on product pages as well. That's your message, make sure it's seen. I agree with the background issue someone else brought up. It's very cute, but it takes away from the products. A solid pink - maybe even a tad darker would draw the eye to the products rather than the background. Good luck, Adrienne
