Manufacturer 3 --Product 1 --Product 2 --... I saw that in OSC it is possible to rate products. I don't want to rate single products, I want my customers to rate the manufacturers. Preferably not by a text message... It would be nice if my customers could rate them on a scale between 1 to 5. And this should only be possible for customers which bought a product of the manufacturer. So in the customer's order confirmation e-mail could be a link to the rating section... I guess you already know these kind of rating systems from other pages... But is there a contribution for OSC? Developped somebody of you something familiar to that? Thanx a lot for you help! As for your actual question, it would be easier to come up with a contribution that uses the existing reviews system to actual perform the review and then add a new page to view all product reviews for a particular manufacturer. This would not require any database changes to hold the data, and thus easier to accomplish and more in line with standard MS2.
