UK date required on invoices as default

Since I am based in the UK, can I change the date on Invoices to dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy? It's probably a very simple change, but I have not fund the place.

It is a full uk based version of oscommerce. If you have not altered too many of the files, just replace them.
