Add to Cart button not working

Hello,

I have done a standard install of OsCommerce and it is working beauftifully except for one thing:

The Add To Cart button does not add products to the shopping cart. The cart remains eternally empty.

:(

I know this must be something really simple (i.e., stupid on my part) but I am new to this and would really appreciate any help you could give. I am totally flummoxed.

Is it something on the server that I need to change? Or a code based issue?

Help!

Thanks so much in advance!!

KP

Did anyone ever help you to resolve this? I am having the same problem - nice working install using the Plesk application vault. Everything is great except that the "Add to Cart" and "Buy Now" buttons don't add the item to the cart - you click them and are taken to the shopping cart page, but it says "Your Shopping Cart is Empty!" Aaaack! Need help!

Create (edit) an .htaccess file in the directory where your store is installed. Add the following line:

php_flag register_globals on

That should fix you up!
