configure.php permissions 777

Recommended Posts

I just switched to a dedicated ip address for my ssl certificate. I am trying to change the configure.php to true for ssl in my ftp program and I am getting an access denied error. I have CHMOD to 777 for includes/configure.php

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Try 644, and you should be able to access it and write to it.

Vger

I tried to CHMOD to 644 but my ftp (smart ftp) says the command is not understood?

I just sitched my site from a shared unix server to a dedicated windows server, on the same host. Would this be why I am having this problem. CHMOD has always worked before.

Thank you

chmod is a linux/unix command. You'll need to find another method.

Can you point me in the right direction to do this on the windows server.

I know very little about MS operating systems. Someone else can probably steer you in the right direction.
