Remove Tables

I disabled the "Welcome Guest .. want to log in blah blah message. There are two empty tables .. occupied by "trans pixel.gif (or whatever) where the message used to reside.

 

Now there is a white space there and I would like to remove at least one of them.

 

Anyone know what file they are in? .. Looking at the page source gives no clue to me .. only that they are there (in some file) somewhere.

Mark, did you check the index.php near the end? I think for the default page it adds those pixel_trans.gif separators. Check this code:

That's where they were! .. I must be going blind .. I looked at that file ... Thanks for that .. Problem solved!
