Enable SSL in Admin Panel

Howdy, folks. Just need someone to give me a pointer on how to enable SSL for activities done with my Admin Panel, such as reviewing customer data, orders, and whatnot.

 

When I log on using https://www... I get the encryption verification, but as soon as I go to any other page beyond the initial Admin control panel, the padlock disappears.

 

Below is my configure.php from my /admin/includes folder:

how can I turn on ssl for the sign up process. Is it possible?
