Changing content layout inside product_listing.php

I am trying to change the content layout when products are displayed after selecting a category using the product_listing.php file. Can anybody assist me, as I am finding it very difficult to track where the HTML tags are created.

 

I have managed to find out that the creation of the product list is done by calling this line:

 

new productListingBox($list_box_contents);

 

I am still confussed as to how this function creates the entire HTML content.

 

Your advise and help will be most appreciated.
