multi-zone/price for shipping costs

Hi to all in the community, A complete newbie to OS commerce having decided to make the switch from miva merchant.

I am trying to set up multi-zone shipping rates with ascending costs depending on the order total cost (not weight)

 

to see what I'm trying to achieve go to our site & make a dummy purchase (www.brookwater.co.uk)

 

as you'll see, we have various countries, with ascending rates for shipping dependant on the order total cost.

 

Now I'm not a complete slacker, I have made a start in the shipping module, I have set up various zones, I have also assigned various countries to those zone, with ascending rates as are required.

 

but here's the real kernel of my problem, I have to use nearly all the different modules with different variations of zones/ascending rate for shipping. It seems long winded to say the least & I'm not exactly sure if is will work out the way I want to.

 

So, any help for a newbie? I am pleased to be with the community & fell confident that OS Commerce will take our company to the next level of business.(if I can get my head round this new system.)
