Capt DuctTape
Hi Gang, Thanks for takin' the time. the site is swagshop.adventurepotato.org There are a bunch of other subs you can use to get there coolstuff, shop, etc. I would like to cut the checkout down some by combining modules, And I need to open a new browser window at some point so people can see that the site is ssl secure (stuck the whole thing in a frame because the shared ssl cert is for the whole server etc) but php ain't vb or object PAL or even LotusScript, so I am like a nine year old girl with a fire axe. The site is not live yet, so feel free to sign up as mickey mouse or whoever you like. Feel free to be blunt if you like, opinions are good, and I promise not to cry too loud if you make fun of the site:) I know I need to work on some of the descriptions, and I need to finalize the shipping options. I'm more concerned with the functionality, look and feel. Since I cannot really read php, I have Nooooo idea what I can rip out (surgicaly ofcourse) with a chainsaw, and what I can shove in (gently) with a mallot. I guess what I'm saying is er um HELP please. Take a gander at the boiler plate legal junk, I'm rather fond of it:) Thanks, Bill
mark27uk3
Hi Bill, The first thing that jumps out at me is the bright yellow background, maybe tone it down a little to a less painfull colour. The second thing is and this would stop me buying anything from you is this paragraph from your T&C's. PRICING Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following: * If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. * If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and shipped by Adventure Potato Inc.. Unfortunately internet shoppers want to pay the price they see and this to me means that you are not very good at what your doing. I think it should be reworded. Did not go any further because of the pain in my eyes from the yellow background! Mark Lifes a bitch, then you marry one, then you die!
