timinark
Hello All, Like all must do, I guess, I am having a bit of a problem with preventing spider sessions. With Prevent Spider Session= "true". I had huge problems with my CC processor displaying the cookie_usage page. ( only after much trial and error) So if I must leave this to "false" how can I prevent the much loved spiders harvesting the dreaded session id's. I have investigated the SID killer contrib. , but feedback generally indicates that this is not the best option. Are there others? Is anyone else having a similar problem? Would forcing cookies, by not using a shared SSL cert. help, or would I kill too many sales in our fledgling site. Thanks to all in advance! timinark
For those that may follow. I have found that there was actually no problem. Payjunction's return after submitting the payment info was being tagged as a spider from my spider.txt file. The actual entry was java/ Now, I wish I know more about that whole process...or maybe I don't. Anyway, shoutouts to wizardsandwars and vger for their help (w00t)
