United States Postal Service An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. Zone Rates Shipping to US : 4.2 lb(s) I tried removing and reloading... verified my acct # and PW.... How long does it take for the test severt to recognize a new acct??? bcwright Posted July 31, 2005 Share Posted July 31, 2005 It will recognize your account essentially immediately. Read the USPS Web Tools documentation. The USPS test server only works on a very few specific transactions, it won't work between any arbitrary ZIP codes or with any arbitrary package weight. My guess is that you haven't set up your shop so that your request is one of the small number of transactions that the test server recognizes. I suspect that it will work fine if you change to the production server. IIRC there are also some issues with the strings returned by the USPS on international shipping - the USPS changed them after the USPS shipping module was written.
