driesb Posted July 31, 2005 Share Posted July 31, 2005 Hello, I am facing serious problems installing OSCommerce under Windows 2003. I am running the enterprise edition plus Mysql 4.1.14 plus PHP4.4.0. With this combination the installation program keeps on telling me that the authentication mode is not good and I need to upgrade the client. When I then install PHP 5.0.4 on top of it all the installation program continues but halts at the next screen, only displaying part of the screen (up tot he text 'New installation' and 'database import' after which it stops. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Also, is there some clear technical info about the program ava somewhere, the documentation I found up to now is leaving an enormous amount to be desired...
