Give it some time to have you site listed properly on the search engines and see the page loads rise to 5000 per day and then you may start being concerned when no orders are made. Guest
It may come down to your prices, have a look at other suppliers in your country. Are your prices more expensive/cheaper/same, what are your shipping charges like in relation to the competition etc. When I look for items on the web to buy, if there is no discernable difference between suppliers and the product I will go with the cheaper supplier (and thats looking at the whole cost, item, delivery etc) Your site looks nice and professional enough, so I wouldn't say that was your problem. As Steve says SSL would be an issue for myself. All things being equal I would always choose the supplier using SSL. If a non-SSL site is cheaper than an SSL site I would still use the SSL site, as I feel they are taking a more professional approach to caring for their customers. And 2 weeks isnt enough time to judge things, patience.
♥bruyndoncx
with such bulky items, you should be clear about the shipping upfront. I suppose it's not as expensive as people might think. If it is expensive, then you might be better of increasing your price and lower the cost of shipping a little. I don't think it is the typical product to buy on the web, but it is niche, and if people are into it, they will buy it if they have the guarantee it will arrive in one piece and at a reasonable price ... KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! bryanpham
Thank you every one who take the time to visit and greatly appreciate to those putting down comment. bruyndoncx, can you be more specific? I have free shipping for order over $100 stated on every item and on the top of the page... however, I may need to put down $15 for any order less than $100. Was that what you mean? with such bulky items, you should be clear about the shipping upfront.by bruyndoncx mikeq, I have done lots of research and found many site carrying these items. Those I found could not compete with my price as a whole (includes shipping and tax). I would greatly appreciate and will take action if you point me to any site that has a lower price on any of my item. It may come down to your prices, have a look at other suppliers in your country. Are your prices more expensive/cheaper/same, what are your shipping charges like in relation to the competition etc. Steve, I know ssl is an issue now for me. I would like to see one or two orders first before spending any more money on this site. Thanks for your suggestion though. My only concern is that there appears to be no ssl installed. That would put me of straight away. Bryan.
AverageJoe
I would bite the bullet and buy a $30 ssl certificate. I use godaddy's without a problem.

At the very least, I would suggest using PayPal's logos in this format: Since PayPal no longer requires registration to pay, it's better to emphasize the credit cards instead of PayPal. But even so, 2 weeks and 100 page views a day is nothing. Especially when you realize that half of those is probably from you checking on your own website, and the rest are probably friends and family who you told about the website. I will take those logos to my site. I will leave it alone for a while... I was very shine about the number when I first posted it... but it's not that important now and... no, they are all new members... if statcounter doesn't lie about IPs. I took it down from bizrate caused I could not afford $20 per day for that anymore. Just FYI. WisTex. If http://www.kyperfumeandgifts.com is your site, just FYI. wizardsandwars
You might want to give NexTag or Shopping.com instead of bizrate. They both are much, much cheaper than bizrate, offer comparison price shopping, and give great conversion ROI. Also, you should be advertising pretty heavily with Google's Adwords. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.
