elyssa Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 Hi, I am just wondering if perhaps OSC could be a good software I could use to have an online catalog type of website, with categories and products, and on each product page, to have a link "inquire abuot this product" - and people can inquire about that product and it sends an email to me... I also want that the user has to register before he can make an inquiry, and that if he is logged in and wants to make another inquiry, he will not have to fill out his name / email / etc... I am in deperate need of finding a solution that would handle this type of functionality.. does anyone have any ideas how I can do this? basically, i don't really want a 'shopping cart' where people can buy things... but rather, just an inquiry basket of some type, and they have to register.. and if they want to inquire, they have to log in.... ♥Vger Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 Change the 'Buy Now' buttons to say 'Enquire', and change the Check/Money Order module to say 'Enquiry', change Shopping Basket to Wish List, and people can add items to their shopping basket, as many as they want, put through a non-paying order - and you'll know what they wish to know more about.
