linkpoint contrib conflicts

Hi.

I downloaded the Linkpoint for MS1/MS2 contrib. The install notes say it updates Tim Wasson's "LinkPoint CardService International Payment Module". It says you can set it to post authorization vs. immediate auth, which we want immediate. We need a seamless transaction. Here are our ?'s:

1) Is this the best linkpoint contrib to use? Our host has the right version of php with curl installed, but it runs redhat 3.0. The other linkpoint contribs I grabbed don't have the files for redhat 3.0, only for versions 6,7, and 8... It's to be 2 different osc stores on one domain having many products...

2) These install notes stress the pem file name is a 6 digit store number = "123456.pem". We've been using miva with a linkpoint pem file that's a 10 digit name == "1123456789.pem". I'd think it'd fine but is it a Mod install problem or no biggie? I have never installed a payment mod or contribs to OSCommerce, please overlook the obvious lack of knowledge!

3) Noticed order logging probs due to linkpoint discussed on the boards: definite issue to troubleshoot or can we sidestep with proper install order of contribs? We're thinking about using STS. We saw an issue with sts/linkpoint... Anyone familiar = do we run from STS? Getting rid of linkpoint isn't possible at this time.

Thanks, alot.

sincerely,

1) Is this the best linkpoint contrib to use?  Our host has the right version of php with curl installed, but it runs redhat 3.0.  The other linkpoint contribs I grabbed don't have the files for redhat 3.0, only for versions 6,7, and 8...
