surfinagain
for some reason today all MSIE users of my oscommerce store can't do anything where we switch to https. in http they are fine. this has never happened and the store has been functional for a year now. essentially the only work around i've found is to turn off the browsers security settings for ssl 3.0 and tls 1.0. then everything works just fine. this is HUGE problem as these security settings are NOT the default...in fact, the default is to have ssl 3.0 selected. hence, many many customers are not able to create accounts, or login in, or check out. none of this is an issue in FireFox. HELP!!!!! thanks in advance...
♥Vger
The usual culprit is your web hosting company deciding to 'upgrade' something without telling you. Check with them! Of course the next most favourite culprit is someone who's been working on the website and has changed some file! Vger
surfinagain
The usual culprit is your web hosting company deciding to 'upgrade' something without telling you. Check with them! Of course the next most favourite culprit is someone who's been working on the website and has changed some file! Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i have contacted my hosting company...nothing back from them. the only modifications i've made recently have all been through the admin gui (adding country code information). i've read that others have had this issue in the past and it was linked to a security update for MSIE. is no one else having this problem? thanks... surfinagain
it's fixed! my hosting company claims they had their cert re-issued and then installed it and that fixed the problem. now sure how that would fix the problem i was experiencing but it's fixed and that's what matters right now. thanks for spending the time to respond.
