My programmer has installed shipping modules into my website that 'reach out' to UPS, USPS and FedEx and bring back rate info on my customer's packages. This rate is then added to the customers invoice. My next question is: How do I ship my packages? How do I get the customer address info, pkg weight, shipping option (ground, express..etc) & customer's email address(?) to the carrier? Do I have to log onto each of their systems and reenter all this data? How can I get tracking info back into MY system and send to my customer (or do I send that info directly from the carrier?) Has anyone created a module that 'sends' this info to the carriers (directly into their systems)? Is that was UPS Online Tools does? Is there a contribution for this? (http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/bussol/offering/technology/automated_shipping/online_tools.html) What is UPS XML? I purchased Endicia, but it is only for USPS.
