Do you have an SSL certificate shared or purchased 'cause if you aint got one or the other you shouldn't use a payment gateway, if you have you must configure your configure.php files there's 2 locations 1 is catalog/includes/configure.php and the other is catalog/admin/includes/configure.php so that your site is secure on the pages where your customers are leaving personal and cc information.
