gynos
HELLO ALL, I?m trying to install oscommerce 2.2 version locally for the first time: this is my environment: windows XP professional sp2 (Italian version), MYSQL for Windows, PHP, IIS and PHP MY ADMIN. When I open catalog/install/install.php and I start to introduce informations, during the phase of the oscommerce.sql file import, I receive this error message: SQL file does not exist: /install/oscommerce.sql. I tried to find a solution but actually there is no clear solution. I realized that this is a frequent problem. Could you give any information in order to solve this problem? Best Regards gynos (Italy)
♥Vger
This is probably due to permissions problems with your install of the Windows server locally. Quickest solution is to do the install manually. Go to phpMyAdmin and, using the SQL tab, import the contents of the default oscommerce.sql file. Then edit the two configure.php files manually and you should be all set up.
