liyah14 Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 Hello everyone, I just signed up on the forums because i figured after having just downloaded the software i would be posting here many times before getting it right (lol!!). Heres a little bit of an introduction: I'm a graphic designer first and foremost.. i dont do coding and engineering and servers and mysql and all the really mathmatical stuff. I build sites with Macromedia Dreamweaver in HTML and dabble with javascript within these sites. I want to add a shoppin cart experience to several sites i maintain but i have no idea where to start. I build HTML pages and then upload them to my web host with an FTP programme, i have no idea how to work Microsoft FrontPage or any of the other 'server jargon'. Basically, im a complete nOOb at the very idea of all this complex stuff, so can someone explain how i can go about building my online store? I have downloaded and unzipped the software like i said at the beginning but there doesnt even seem to be an installer or anything and i'm lost.
