Guest Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Did you just change the extension to CSV or did you save the file as CSV from excel? The file size will not be the same (which it appears to be), if you followed the instructions in the post I referenced. When you open this file in notepad, it will be clearly readable text, not XLS garbage. If you see a bunch of garbage characters at the top of the file, you didn't follow the instructions in the post I referenced. Follow these instructions to the letter... make sure the $excel_safe_output flag set to true in the settings. export to a CVS file, then open in excel, change one price and save, close excel, then import.
