hostify
I got money from paypal when client paid (for order from my oscommerce). But no order information in oscommerce admin. I got this problem for a second time. Is there anyone found this problem? How can I fixed?
OceanRanch
The IPN contribution explains why this happens. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 HTH Tom
Panic36
Would this be your first order? Or have you gotten previous orders? If this is your first order, I would set up an account and go through the purchasing steps to see if it happens again... If it does, and your cart is fairly new, I would look in your customers folder, and possibly give them a call? If this isn't, I don't see how it can be an on and off thing... Hopefully someone else here can give you better advice on the configuration that's in error. Is this IPN now bundled with the current release of MS 2.2? Because I honestly haven't had this problem... and I haven't installed PayPal IPN
heretoo
In the paypal profile, there is a autoreturn feature that must be turned on in web options, it does not seem to really have anything to do with an order but if turned off it will not go back and confirm the order. OceanRanch
The IPN contrib is still a contribution in MS2.2. You might be just lucky or you may also have enabled the auto return feature of paypal that catches alot of the folks that don't click on the fine button on paypal. Most folks go with IPN and seem happy. HTH Tom
hostify
do you mean I have to install this contribution? http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 I try to download it but downloaded file is error.
OceanRanch
Yes, install that contribution. The forum thread for support for it is http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124298 Post for help there on the download. Tom
Doodlebuckets
I am having the same problem. It worked before but now it does not. I've done some test order through Paypal (not IPN, just plan PP) and when I hit the continue button at the very end, I get "checkout_process.php could not be found. Please check the name and try again." whle still in PP. The file is there, but PP is not going back to it and no one can confirm their orders. I do not have IPN set up, just PP. What can I do? For PP Auto Return, what page could I use to return to and meet PP's criteria? Thanks... Amy
OceanRanch
Are you using a full URL to checkout_process.php (i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/checkout_process.php) on the paypal site? Tom
Doodlebuckets
I am not using auto return at all b/c I don't have page with the info PP requires. Amy
Guest
Thank you so much! I was having the same issue. I'll try turning on the "autoreturn" function.
