suresheva31
Hey guys, I installed oscommerce in my server couple of weeks ago and start playing around and everying was straight forward but only thing that driving me crazy is that I have the product attributes in a different section, instead having at the same section as when someone actually try to add the new products, in this way I do not need to go to two places and spend double of my time for a single product. But on the oscommerce documentaion 'Knowledge Base' but I see the following Administation View for when some one add new Product "OS Commerce Knowledgebase, where they could do every thing on one window instead of going to two different places. On the one I installed I do not able ot see the product attriubutes, under new products options? Is there is anything that I need to change on the code to bring it like that? Wendy James
The image you are seeing is for the upcoming version of osCommerce. Until then you can try installing one of the many attribute/options contributions. Several of them allow you to fill out all the attributes and options first like normal on their seperate page then when adding the products you can choose the attributes for that product on that page. There is one that allows you to put options into sets, if you have lots of products with the same options this is great. You should look through the contributions, you will surely find something that will work the way you want it to. :) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
