Druss Posted July 25, 2005 Share Posted July 25, 2005 I've been stumped on a Paypal IPN problem and while trying to figure it out I'm curious if I missed something really obvious. Do you need to change your Paypal Profile for IPN to work properly? In all the documentation for the IPN's & Modules I've read it never mentions it but I saw a comment in a thread about enabling it on Paypal. I wander over to Paypal and find a IPN Section in my profile, I'm ready to enable it there but it asks for a URL to send Notifications to. Druss Posted July 25, 2005 Author Share Posted July 25, 2005 Thanks for clearing that up. I set it up that way in my Sandbox and sadly its still not working. I notice that my order status never changes from Pending, is it supposed to? The debug email I get says the payment was verified and is completed and it shows up in my account but the stock is never removed from my site. I get the IPN's without a problem, I get the $$$, debug says verified, but the item stays pending and it does not get removed from my inventory. This morning I set up a fresh install and was able to get the Paypal IPN working on it, so its something I installed or changed along the way that broke it, just no idea what.
