Panic36
Basically I had the shopping cart in my root folder, ( http://www.aliandadele.com ) now I have moved it to http://marketplace.aliandadele.com which is located in http://www.aliandadele.com/marketplace/ I have changed my configure.php in both catalog/includes/ and in catalog/admin/includes to take changes, so the site seems to be working however I do have the problem with the oscid=" part.. It never goes away now... It use to be there when you first came to the site... now it doesn't stop... I haven't been able to make it go away :( any help would be great Thanks, Robert P. Jack_mcs
If the SID's were not there before, then you must be using some contribution that removes them. If you are using Ultimate SEO, that will happen until the cookie files are created. Panic36
Oh yes I have That contrib installed, but what do I have to change in the coding for it 2 go away? I have flushed my cache, and deleted my cookies/temp net files... But the issue doesn't go away..
Jack_mcs
You don't need to change anything. It should clear up by itself. If you are using the page cache contribution, that could be causing a problem. Panic36
The problem isn't clearing up.... I really don't know what I should do 2 fix this problem.. I really don't think I installed a cache contrib, I don't see it in my installed contribs folder on my local... I'm really drawing a blank here... Is it because sessions aren't able to be created that it wont go away?
Panic36
Ha, I'm basically pulling out my hair here because this issue is driving me insane! lol... I have done a lot of searching, also found out cookies was improperly configured. Since using sub domains now, I didn't know it had to be .aliandadele.com is that right? I'm still not even sure... If cookies aren't working correctly does that have anything to do with sessions or cache?... Please help if you have any ideas on this matter Thanks, Robert P. Jack_mcs
I suggest reading through the support thread for Ultimate SEO and then asking in that thread if you can't find an answer.
