FATAL ERROR: register_globals disabled in php.ini

hi, can't find my php.ini to turn register_globals ON. however, i tried to set the ones (php.safe, php, phpmyadmin,etc...) i managed to find ON but with no effects at all. can someone please help me here.

 

ps: php.ini is not in my C/WINDOWS/PHP.INI (NOT THERE EITHER)

If you look at the folder where you install PHP, there should be a php.ini-dist and a php.ini-recommended. Simply rename one of these to php.ini and edit the part on register_globals.

 

That should do the trick. :blush:
