t90 Posted July 24, 2005 Share Posted July 24, 2005 I would like to use the new Paypal service called "Website Payments STANDARD", since this service offers credit card processing without the need for a merchant account. Instructions on Paypal's website are as follows: "Log in to your shopping cart provider?s website and follow the instructions to add PayPal as your payment processor." osCommerce is in the list of compatible shopping cart providers. osCommerce has a built-in Paypal module, but it processes the payments through the normal Paypal (requires customer sign-in), rather than the new Website Payments Standard service. I am able to use this service with Paypal's own shopping cart and the checkout looks like this: How do I integrate Paypal's Website Payments Standard with osCommerce shopping cart? Thanks in advance. ♥Vger Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 If you are based in the UK, rest of the European Community, or the USA then the standard osCommerce PayPal module, when it takes the customer to PayPal, does not require new customers to login or create an account on the PayPal website.
