brewbeer
www.austinhomebrew.com An order came through with free shipping when the order total was under the free shipping minimum. I checked all the code and also tried to recreate the order with the customer and identical products. I did not find an error with the process or customer or order. Is there a bug somewhere in the code? Can the post and session variables be maniplulated by the end user <_< ? I reviewed the code involved and decided it is either a hack attempt or there is a bug in the software. The code looked pretty solid except for the possibilty of changing some session or post variables and going straight to checkout_payment. I have eliminated the possibility of internate personnel error Any help is most appreciated! MarcoZorro
There was a bug in the free shipping where if you chose a shipping option and went to the payment page, then went back to the shipping you would be offered free shipping as the price of the goods + the price of the shipping was over the value set for free shipping over. Take a look at http://www.oscommerce.com/community/bugs As there is a fix posted there.
