Allowing a Multiple Downloads Based On Purchase

Can someone suggest some solutions please

I want to sell a custom software product that can be downloaded off the site.

There are several different versions of this software as an example,

Softw - Single User -- Softw - 5 User License - Softw - 10 User License.

Is there any way possible that i can somehow control that if they purchase

Softw - Single User - they can download it once.

Softw - 5 User License - they can download it 5 times

Softw - 10 User License - they can download it 10 times

My thoughts were that they purchased the product - then would log into the Store site - put in maybe there Invoice No. or confirmation and then be able to download a copy until they used up the number of copies they purchased. I think I need to control this by invoice because they can purchase multiple invoices.

Also they would be downloading it to the computer that they are installing it on.

Also - can someone provide information on how you control the licensing - example - you buy Windows XP and you get a sn that you enter online to active - how do they do this

My mother always said you get yourself into 1 H**L of a mess - I think she was right

Thank you for anyone who can take the time and patience I have Tons of questions

This is no problem, just set up the attributes for the product, with each different attribute you can set a different file/time limit for download/number of downloads.

So if it was the same file and expiration date but just different number of downloads allowed then just change this number of downloads with each different attribute.
