shaunklink
I'm using STS on a HEAVILY modified version of OSC. I was wondering.... I am making certain links to pages with regular HTML templates. for example, my main template has a top nav that has "HOME, PRODUCTS, ORDER, ABOUT US" etc. When a user clicks on products they are sent to product_info.php?products_id=28. There is only one item in the store so this works great. My question though is should I pass the OSCID variable along with it? I have not had ANY problems without using them, I just want to be more standard complient. ALso, I'm on a MAC and it seems to be a little more forgiving then PC's, so I want to make sure it's all ok. karmapool
Howdy, It depends if you have force cookies enabled or not. the $osCsid is how oscommerce keeps track of customers orders if they have there cookies disabled. I would recommend including it. hope this helps, Billy Z
shaunklink
The only problem though is that you can't call PHP from the STS templates. hmmm....I know how to make custom boxes.....I can;t think of how to do this though Thanks for the reply.
