caspire Posted July 20, 2005 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to download my admin section and database and be able to add products to my site using the admin GUI without having internet access or connecting to my web hosting server. I have seen the Easy Populate contribution, but dont like adding product in excel. Is there anyway I can do this with using the admin GUI? Wendy James Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 You can run your entire site locally on a windows machine by installing easyphp or xampp but no matter what you do you will then have to update the database/files/images online. Setting up a website online to gather data from your machine is a pain in the butt, your machine can never be off, and it tends to be slow.
