rommany
Hello all, Has google done a pr upday over the last few days or so...? The reason i ask is that 2 days ago i was surfing my site and saw some of the page had been pr from 0 to a 3 printable catalog, All products and a few more, so i thought they must have done an update but my main page pr stayed the same <_< . But when i have just looked at all the pages again today the pr has gone down to zero again, i find this all very strange. Any ideas kind regards
Jack_mcs
Google has a bunch of databases that they rotate as they are updated by the bots. You may have a PR of 0 in one DB and 3 in another. Eventually, as they cycle through the DB's, your PR will be set the same for them all. But until that happens, you can see your PR change like that. rommany
thanks jack, Does that mean my index page could also change, its at 3 at the moment, and the change i saw was 3 for the all products page and so on, what i thought was your index/main was mostly higher than all others ? Again thanks
Jack_mcs
Yes, it could change too. You are correct, the index page is usually higher because that is where most of a sites backlinks link to. The PR generally goes down one for each sub link. So if the index page has a PR of 3, then links from the index page to some other page would be 2. But that depends on what backlinks the other page has also. It could end up having a higher PR than the homepage. hubcat
You can also submit your link at frapid.com for free <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If they require a reciprocal link, the're not really free. There are plenty of directories out there that don't require a reciprocal link. Adrienne
x4ntos
I think, that somewhere in old posts of Chemo in Marketing, You can find a link to vilesilencer's page with SEO directories, that don't require any reciprocials. http://www.info.vilesilencer.com - I hope I'm not breaking any rules by giving it here, but this site is really helpful in getting IBL's. Those ones from free directories aren't worth a lot, but it's always good to be listed there - it doesn't cost You anything. Ony a bit of time :) x4ntos
