trevb54
I had this program running as perfect as could be until last night. I don't know what went wrong but something did. I deleted the original install and have now reinstalled it twice with the same problem. I can't get any of the gif files to show. As you can see by the following reference I have 3 /// of these. I know they shouldn't be there but I can't find where to go and fix it. http:///images/table_background_default.gif Would someone be kind enough to help. To get this reference I right clicked on the blank image and clicked properties. All files are where they are suppose to be. Well I think so anyway. donalrafferty
I'm no pro but it sounds like you need to change some details in your catalog/includes/configure.php file. Download the original configure.php file (make sure it's the catalog configure file and not the admin one) from the oscommerce site and compare the folder/directory paths with your own. There's some information missing from the image path for your site.

When I first installed the program everything worked fine. I just don't understand what has happened.

Can anyone see anything wrong please. I have noticed in view source code on a web page that there is a <base href> which I know when it looks this <base href="http://datasoundaustralia.com/catalog/"> then the web page works. I need to know how to get this to function properly. <?php /* osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright ? 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.datasoundaustralia.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.datasoundaustralia.com'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', ''); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', ''); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', ''); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . I completely reinstalled the oscommerce files to a different address (same server) and it all works perfectly. So I have no idea what went wrong. Hope I'm not speaking to soon.
