tuppergirl Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Hi all, is there really a diff in installing oscommerce from fantastico and doing a DIY installation? Fantastico comes with the hosting package I signed up and installing oscommerce is few clicks away. I've read some of the posts here that advocate DIY installation as it exercises more control. All is working very well and I've had no problems whatsoever in the overall working of the cart, etc. Saved me a lot of time and effort to be honest! Good luck whatever you decide.
