nicpon Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 I have OSC 2.2 running on RH 9.2 on local netowrk just for testing before i put it on the wan. I have noticed that its working pretty slowely. Everytime i click somewhere in catalog it loads the header and stops for like a second or 2 and continues loading. I have about 5700 items in my stroe and i`m trying to figure out if its because the big number of items or there is something wrong ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nicpon Posted July 19, 2005 Author Share Posted July 19, 2005 I dont have images on the web yet, just plain data in mysql. I removed all the products and it was flying. I have about 351 categories and all of them where switch very fast. Then i added products again and same thing happend. It stopps for a two seconds when i click on the cat. I think i set in php.ini 24MB for php script. Moreover i`m the only one connected to this server so there is no load on the net either and none of this products has atributes assigned yet . But the thing is that right now i have my shop in asp right now and its flying with 5700 products. Would PHP and Mysql not be able to handle that or there has to be an error somewhere.
