gm_dan Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 hello, i am very new to all this but I managed to install OS Commerce etc, however when it comes to purchasing the test products provided in the install i can select what I want to buy but when I go to the checkout I get a page cannot be displayed error. the website I am working on is: http://www.british4wd.co.nz/catalog/index.php if anyone has an idea on how to fix this it will be appreciated! btw when I installed the software I requested SSL from the tick box, could this have something to do with it? You either have access to a shared ssl from your hosting company, or you buy and install, or have installed, a full ssl of your own. So, you have no ssl but your site is set up to look for it - and this is why you're getting that error. Edit both configure.php files, and set enable_ssl to false in both of them. Also leave https_server, https_catalog, and https_cookie_domain entries blank - until such time as you do have ssl. Vger Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
