Email problems...

Hello all!

 

I am having some email problems. Initially, I could not send or receive any email and there were no error messages. Then, I uploaded email_test.php and though my email was sent successfully, I received none. After that, I installed Mail Factory and manage to receive emails to my domain emails but I am unable to send any emails.

 

Just wondering if anyone is having this problem too? My email options are:

 

E-Mail Transport Method: smtp

E-Mail Linefeeds: CRLF

Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails: false

Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS: false

Send E-Mails: true

 

E-Mail Address: [email protected]

E-Mail From: [email protected]

Send Extra Order Emails To: [email protected]

 

My site is hosted by a company, and I have no access to any php.inc files and I am not using localhost.

Before installing Mail Factory, I have tried different combinations but was not able to send or receive email.

 

I am not sure if the email.php in Mail Factory has any effect on the email option since it focuses on smtp. I tried changing to sendmail but cannot receive and send emails....
