Totally Lost
Recently installed the "ipn paypal" contrib, then i configured all the settings that were self explainitory and did searches on the other unknowns. As it stands, i have no idea what & where i find the information below. When someone selects checkout, a completely blank screen shows up. I disable the newly installed 'ipn paypal' contribute and try it again, it works fine. I'd like to get this up and running but am not sure what the problem is as I recevie no errors or hints to the issue, (just get a blank screen). I've gone through paypal and set up my 'ipn' settings to on and specified a 'url' ...now what? What are these settings and which do i need to pay attention to? imfinlay
If you look in the PayPal sandbox documentation - the Website Standard Payments Integration Guide, that will help a lot. You have to download PayPal's certificate, create your own public and private keys and upload the public one to PayPal. Tell the payment module where they are and you should be a lot further on. I'm not sure what chmod to set the directory with the keys/certificates in, but I'm still searching the forum for that. Ian

Ian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm...i see, i understand how most of these things are suppose to work (in theory) just alot of encryption and authonticating which is good, im just alittle unclear on the "create your own public and private keys" comments. Ill definetly check out the paypal sandbox documentation you've mentioned. Please append any info/links that you think may be helpful for myself and others. Thanks!
