Fresh install- but parse error

Ive uploaded a new copy of OSC, and went thru the configuration process successfully.

 

Then it gives me 2 buttons. Catalog & Administration tool.

 

When i click catalog i get:

 

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/2/d93106955/htdocs/cherisattic/includes/functions/general.php on line 251

 

When i click Administration tool i get:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/2/d93106955/htdocs/cherisattic/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 216

I have tried erasing everything and re-uploading several times, and even modifing the general.php files in dreamweaver, and i continue to get the error.

I also tried the latest versions of CREloaded and Zencart and am getting the same issue.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
