bobbins Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 Looking for the cheapst UK delivery (2-7 days) We do royal mail, and Next day courier, because are orders are between 1kg - 4kg, Royal mail postage is ?3.80-?11.95......they must be a better way ? I don't want to hide the cost of postage on the goods, so I get the customers to pay for the postage...seems fair to me! radders Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 Parcel2go.com is slightly cheaper than Parcelforce /Royal Mail for weights between 3kg and 25kg. If you do enough volume maybe a direct account with a courier would be cheaper for you. We have found that Royal Mail works pretty well for us as we send mostly lighter packages. I was considering looking around for a logistics company to handle this side of the business but probably we'd need higher volumes to make it work. Flyer5 Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Just a word of warning - one of my clients chose dhl, set price of ?7.70 up to 10kg, which was fine, but they neglected to tell him they charge ?10 re delivery fees.
