No known advertising, not mention in the news that gives large traffic? so I just wounder what exactly are the counter counting? Is it realy visitors? AXM Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 Don't worry its only counting page counts. Everytime you refresh the page it will add another count. So if the average visit views 10 pages, that's 2,000 unique visitors. Plus you have to estimate how many hits were tabulated before the site became public (testing and having friends/associates look at it before going live). And also you can change the number by simply changing one table cell in the MySQL database, which who would wanna start a live start with 1 hit. Why not make it start out at 10,000??
