Guest
I am trying to make the most basic of customisations to my cart... such as changing the text that appears on the index.php page. I don't see any back end files that contain this information... unless I'm missing them. Where is the plain text information stored?? I'm confused but am probably missing something really obvious... Wendy James
In your languages directory. Catalog/includes/languages Some wording (mostly the main stuff and box headings) is on the english.php - or whatever language you are using. The rest is all inside the language folder. If you are editing the contact us page, you need to edit the contact_us.php, if you are editing the index page then you will need to edit the index.php and maybe the english.php and so on. Each page has a language file associated with it. Hope this makes sense. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
