Guest
My development sever is behind a firewall with port 80 open. From my local network, I have no problem connecting to all parts of osCommerce. But another developer on the Internet side cannot do much more than pull up the default pages for the catalog and admin. Clicking links from the Internet side just times out rather than working. My cable modem is limited to only 256K up so I would not expect outstanding performance. Could my firewall be preventing proper osCommerce operation? Does osCommerce need any ports besides 80 open? dave111
No, it does not require other ports to be open.... obviously if you want to be able to ftp you'll need to open port 21... But to view the site in a browser only 80...
