Didn't know a site could be f*cked up worse than stock.

You got a lot to do before you can "start soon". Wow. The best advice is to look into buying a template. I'm not even sure what you?re selling - water facets?

I'm not trying to be rude. I'm not a rude person. Sorry about my comment. I just feel you should have given it a little more of an effort before posting on here asking for a review.

It's very hard to give you a good suggestion because you haven't done enough to show us the style you want. But here is something to get you going:

1) reinstall osc (you have a lot of definition errors and your categories box is pretty messed up. in the index, you have made the body table too wide and it cuts into the right column).

3) learn html (this is not a joke. nor is it over simplified. html is an easy language and there are a lot of help online and in books, yet, it takes a lot of effort to have what you want actually show up the way you want it.)

4) look at other people's sites. go through their html code (there is a billion -trillion pages out there and they are all open source). download some free templates from the contributions and play around with them. learn.

5) read up on css (this can make your site stand out with very little effort on your part)

..theres plenty more but it will just be more general comments that you won't listen to anyway.

Hungarians must be very intelligent to put the two and two together.

How about a photograph of a cheetah and a turtle by a post office. Then when a customer asks you what that's all about, you can say "Fast shipping"

I have to agree with jiggy361. I would start again, but as i love ripping sites apart that is what i will do. Seeing as though you want help i will give it to you also.

1. You have more than 1 define messed up on your front page. Where you have a missing define like you have, define it in your languages folder. There are more around your site, so the same applies.

2. Apart from having some cryptic picture on the front page, you havent even been bothered to alter the text. You are told how to do this in the text you havent removed, so i wont bother to explain it again.

3. You have some spare arrow images in your categories box. I would remove them.

4. Your product description are total rubbish. You are trying to sell an item, that people cant toch, feel and see. Make each description good. Sell the item.

5. You are still using the standard oscommerce colours and buttons. The colours you can change in your stylesheet, and you can alter the buttons in your languages folder.

6. You have installed the sitemap contribution, that is a positve step, but you have missed some bits of the installation, again a define in your information box. Check the instructions again, and add the missing parts.

7. On your product info pages, you have amissing image called 'button_sold_out.gif'. Down load it and it wont show as missing again. You have loads of other images missing. You should see them as missing, so download them. You put them there for a reason, so let people see them.

8. You still have everyone of the standard oscommerce default images. If you read nearly every post in this section, you will see advice about either removing them, or replace them. If people are always told to do this, do you not think that there is a reason, and they should be removed. What makes you so different from the rest. The same applies to the requests since #### in the footer, and the this item text was added text in your information pages.

9. You have yet to insert anything into your information boxes. These are there to tell the world about your terms and conditions, delivery and such things. Make this as informative as is possible, and leave nothing out. Also add a page about you, as a company. If you expect to sell anything, the first thing you will have to sell will be yourself.

10. No matter what page i went to, the following line were empty in your metatags etc.' <meta name="Description" content="Put your description here - match it to what is on the page">

<meta name="Keywords" content="Put your keywords here - match to keywords on the page">

<meta name="Author" content="Put Copyright notice here">'

Fill them in. You want people to find the items you are selling dont you.

11. My pet hate at the minute, is the advance search text. Make it relate to items you are seling in your store, not microsoft computer bits. Also on your advanced search page, remove the date bit. No one searches by date.

12. You need to add ssl to your site. Loads of people wont even fill in their email address without security. Most webhosts include a shared ssl with your package, so its only a case of setting it up.

I have briefly looked at your store, and have been horrified by the standard achieved. You may have worked hard at it, and it may be your first store, but you should not ask for a review with a store in this state. GET IT SORTED, and ask again, then maybe you will get some positive comments. Read other reviews in this forum, and take notice of what is being said. Apply this information to your store. If i was anything to do with oscommerce, i would ask you to remove the copywrite information, as i would not want t be associated with a site like yours.

REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP

agree totally w/ steve. It may be worth while to start from scratch so that you have a good clean install to work with.
