MichaelKlusek
I created an attribute list comsisting of letters a thru x plus 'none' as last entry When I did the same for another product I forgot to add the 'none' entry. When I when back and added it later it shows up after the 'D' in the list. removed and tried again same result. Has no correlation to ID number or any thing else that I know of. Where is the setting to have these in alpha order or ID order or any order as long as consistent?
Wendy James
Several contributions, I believe, that sorts the order or allows you to choose what order you want the attributes to show up in. MichaelKlusek
Several contributions, I believe, that sorts the order or allows you to choose what order you want the attributes to show up in. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks Wendy, After some time exploring all the versions I picked Sort Product Options Only one change to product_info.php Others were way to complicated. I still have to enter the tedious process of assigning 48 (1-48)and 24(A-x) plus None attributes to each of 4 products, but at least I won't break anything. You would think a better way would be designed in from the start, like alphanumeric. Isn't that something mysql can do easily? One panic over for now. Thanks again,
Wendy James
I am not that great with mysql so I can't answer that... but if a lot of your products share the same attributes you could try the attribute sets contribution which will allow you to set up your attributes in sets, assign an order and let you add the price differences all on one page. Takes a bit more editing to intall it but makes life very easy once done. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2201 Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
