Infobox Skin + Infobox Admin contributions

Recommended Posts

I've installed Infobox Skin manager and it works great. After an installation of Infobox Admin, I run into some problems. After following the instructions step by step.. below is one of the error I encountered.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_show_category() (previously declared in /home/magic/public_html/store/includes/boxes_content/categories.php:13) in /home/magic/public_html/store/includes/boxes_content/categories.php on line 13

When infobox skin Manager is installed, it required a change of folder name from "boxes" to "boxes_content" and add a new folder named boxes.

How do I work around this?

Thanks and appreciate any input and help given.

Hello Tuppergirl,

I don't know if you have figured out the work around, but what I did is instead of copying the /boxes file from the Infobox Admin contribution into the /includes/boxes folder, I copy them into the /includes/boxes_content folder. It seem to work for me.

On the other hand, I am having problem with the columns. I installed Infobox Skin Manager first, then installed Infobox Admin. What's happening now is that all the boxes are in a single column now which is the whole width of the page. If I set the box to the left, it will show up on top of the main text box and if the box is set to the right, it will show up at the bottom of the main text box.

It seems the problem has something to do with how Infobox Skin Manager handles column_left.php and column_right.php files. However, I am unable to figure out a fix or work around for this. Any idea? or can anyone else help me out? I really like these two contributions and want to keep them both!
